Jain Organizations

JAINA

JAINA was established in 1981 with the blessings of Acharya Sushil Kumar Ji and Gurudev Chitrabhanu Ji. JAINA has grown from its initial membership of 4 Jain centers to 62 Jain centers at present. JAINA is the only organization representing all the Jains in North America irrespective of their language, region and traditions. It has provided a forum to foster friendship and unity among all Jains of North America.


Young Jains of America (YJA)

YJA is an entity of JAINA, a non-profit organization, and serves Jain youth from ages 14-29. YJA serves over 10,000 members, creating opportunities for Jain youth to connect through social events, service, and education.


Young Jain Professionals (YJP)

YJP is an entity of JAINA, a non-profit organization, and serves Jain professionals and entrepreneurs 21 years and older, to uphold Jain values, principles, and heritage. It also provides a forum for succession from YJA to JAINA.


Veerayatan

Veerayatan is a religious and humanitarian organization established in Rajgir, Bihar (India) in 1972 by Acharya Shriji Chandanaji. The JSCNC community has been engaged with them and played an active role over the years with projects like the “Gift-of-Sight” program.
